This
is the camp that has been around for over 30 years! Great emphasis is placed on
learning the fundamentals of basketball-this is the cornerstone of Kay Yow Camps.
The Kay Yow Camp staff will work closely with each camper to develop her skills
at every skill level. This camp is enhanced by the opportunity to play games on
a team and compete with your friends in individual skill competitions. You will
only be playing and competing with girls in your age group. The
campers will also have the added benefit of lectures by Coach Yow, as well as
special guest lectures by former Wolfpack Women and other guests. Campers will
also have the chance to watch the 2004-2005 NC State Wolfpack Women's Highlight
Video. Many
current and former Wolfpack Women work as coaches and counselors at this camp
and do a great job in providing encouragement and incentive to young athletes.
These positive role models oftentimes become friends or pen pals!
This
camp is open to campers ages 7 years to entering college freshmen. |
